When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if provided via social login). We use Firebase Authentication to manage accounts securely.

Connected Social Accounts

If you connect your Instagram or Facebook account, we receive an access token and basic profile details (username, account ID). We store these tokens securely and use them solely to publish content on your behalf.

Content You Upload

Videos, images, captions, and other content you upload are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage and Firestore. This content is used to create and schedule social-media posts as directed by you.

Usage Data

We may collect anonymous usage analytics (pages visited, features used) to improve the platform. We do not sell this data to third parties.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule and publish social-media content on your behalf.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Meta (Instagram / Facebook) — content publishing via the Instagram API.
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request data deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data we hold about you. To do so:

  1. Email us at support@niche-social.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
  2. Include the email address associated with your Niche Social account.
  3. We will verify your identity and delete your data within 30 days.

Upon deletion we will remove your account information, uploaded content, connected social tokens, and any associated records from our systems.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase security rules, and secure token storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
